How to update my xbox 360 memory
Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. I forgot to mention I did they this but figured I should try it again. I also did the resetting the network hardware till and it is doing the same thing. I cleared the cache of both before doing so and made sure the corrupted file was deleted. Hope this helps! This is typical when the Memory Unit has failed and a chunk of the memory can no longer be read from or written to. The update won't install. You can try and plug in a USB 2.
If you end up getting another , get one without a memory unit that is hard drive only or consider getting an Xbox One I tried using the flash drive and that did not work. It gave me the same error as before. Trying to remember all I did, so far: Tried testing Xbox live connection Cleared cache of both memory and hard drives Took out the hard drive and tried to update it Formatted the hard drive.
The memory drive I tried to format but it will not erase anything. Is there any way around it? Like trying to use just the hard drive for stuff or a USB? I am pretty broke and cannot afford another or a One, though I would love to get a One. Plus most of my games are not compatible with One and neither is my Kinect.
