Abbott does not support bit use of its CoPilot software program which allows one to upload data from one's Abbott meter and keep track of and analyze one's situation including various manual inputs such as insulin or other med use, exercise, ketones, etc.

Because Abbott does not support bit computer use, their cable driver doesn't work for bit. The CoPilot software does work on bit systems, but besides the cable driver a separate software item from the CoPilot program itself issue, some people--obviously me--may be encountering this warning each time that they attempt to do something--see attached jpeg.

I called Abbott and they acknowledged that this can happen. They said that they don't support bit use and that this can happen whether the bit use is on XP, Vista, or Win 7. If they ever update from CoPilot ver. Many people are running bit OSs now, so I expect that they will eventually, but don't hold your breath. Anyway, you can just click past the constant warnings and the program works fine otherwise--click Yes.

Also some people may not be seeing these warnings despite running bit no idea why. Note also that the image of the warning I attached is from my own CoPilot, thus the file size is what I had at the moment--yours will vary; it keeps growing as you add data. So here is my question: Is anyone else running bit seeing this?

How many running bit are not seeing this? I guess this is somewhat of an informal survey. Perhaps most importantly, has anyone figured out how to stop the warning--some setting toggle or whatever?

I think I had this issue when I first installed on x64 and then I reinstalled and I haven't seen the messages again. In ver. Abbott seems to be aware of it--or so a phone call to them would indicate. Software still works, one just has to click past the warning.

Tried installing over current installation--didn't work, as installation was aborted by installation exe due to already being installed.
